Darren Vierck
After serving as a staff RN at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center, Darren founded Canyon Creek Adult Family Home in 1999. With a strong clinical background and a deep commitment to high-quality care, he set out to create a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment for medically fragile individuals.
Recognizing a growing need for a home-like setting for ventilator-dependent clients—many of whom had previously been limited to hospitals or traditional nursing facilities—Darren transitioned Canyon Creek into a ventilator-exclusive home. Drawing on his construction experience, he personally remodeled the entire residence to feature beautiful, spacious, private suites tailored to both comfort and complex medical needs.
Today, Darren remains fully engaged in the daily operations of the home. He provides hands-on nursing care while managing the broader responsibilities of business ownership. His compassion, expertise, and unwavering dedication ensure that every resident receives exceptional, individualized care in a true home environment.
